Straw in colour, with strong aromas of tropical fruits, delicate asparagus and citrus blossom.
On the palate this wine first offers up refreshing pineapple, passionfruit, and kiwifruit but with a rich, opulent mouthfeel. The long, moreish palate develops further with hints of oak, delicate rockmelon and lasting zesty finish of lemon/lime sorbet.

Picked late in the season on 2nd April 2022, the Sauvignon Blanc fruit was fully destemmed, lightly pressed and the juice underwent a long, cool fermentation to preserve the aromatics. Nine months in French oak with stirring of yeast lees has helped this wine reach its potential by adding texture and complexity without the oak taking centre stage. A wine that will be drinking well for the next couple of years but could be cellared for a little longer if you enjoy a more complex, textural style white with less primary fruit and aromatics.
An adventurous wine for an adventurous wine drinker that can be enjoyed well chilled on a warm day or paired with food. Perfect with seafood, light fish dishes, salads and of course most soft and hard cheeses.
